Promenade on Poyntz
Ten downtown businesses will serve as the stops for participants along the Promenade path as they stroll around Poyntz Avenue sampling the different wines and hors d'oeuvres featured at each location. The Promenade on Poyntz is part of the Flint Hills Festival of Wines, an annual fundraiser sponsored by Standard Beverage Corporation. The $25 admission fee benefits the Homecare & Hospice Foundation.

Arts in the Park
Sponsored by the Manhattan Parks and Recreation Department during the summer, Arts in the Park brings the performing arts to the Larry Norvell Band Shell in City Park. Performances include a wide variety of local and regional musical acts throughout the summer. Most Friday nights you'll be able to hear great music starting at 8pm! And the Band Shell also plays host to the Little Apple Jazz Festival!

Country Stampede
On the last full weekend in June, Manhattan hosts the Affiliated Foods Midwest Country Stampede. Country music's hottest stars arrive in Manhattan to entertain fans from across the United States for a weekend of music, camping and excitement.
